Karimnagar: The body of a 39-year-old farmer, Siriseti Santhosh, was found burning between Korapalli and Papaiahpalli villages in Jammikunta mandal of the district on Monday.
A native of Vilasagar of Jammikunta mandal, Santhosh went missing on Sunday evening. Family members searched for him at their relatives and friends house but in vain.
Locals found the two-wheeler of Santhosh between Korapalli-Papaiahpalli villages. When they searched the nearby areas, Santosh’s body Santhosh was found burning.
Villagers informed the family members, and a large number of villagers gathered at the spot.
On coming to know about the incident, police rushed to the spot and began investigations after registering a case. Police suspect that some unidentified persons may have killed Santhosh and set his body on fire to destroy clues.
