Father, daughter killed in road accident at Shadnagar
A father and daughter died in a road accident at Shadnagar in Telangana’s Ranga Reddy district on Saturday morning when a lorry rammed into their motorcycle. The victims were identified as Muchendar and Maithrai. Police arrested the driver and seized the vehicle.
Hyderabad: A father and daughter were killed in a road accident at Shadnagar in Ranga Reddy district on Saturday morning.
The duo Muchendar and his daughter Maithrai were going on a bike when a lorry hit the motorcycle on Shadnagar road.
According to reports, Muchendar was taking her daughter on the bike to drop the girl at a nearby bus stop so that she would take a bus to reach her college at Shamshabad.
The police took the driver of the lorry into custody. The vehicle is seized. The bodies are shifted to a local mortuary for postmortem examination. A case is registered.
