Father dies in car accident hours before son’s marriage in Siddipet

Siddipet: A man died in a road accident barely hours before his son’s marriage at Venkatraopet village in Thoguta mandal in the early hours of Saturday.
The marriage of Mohammad Nizamuddin, a resident of Manthur in Raipole mandal, was scheduled to be performed on Saturday.
As part of marriage rituals, Nizamuddin’s father Mohammad Kasim (73), along with his wife, elder son and grandson were proceeding towards Manthur from Pragnapur, the bride’s residence, when the driver lost control as a wild boar came in the way.
The car crashed into a roadside tree. While Kasim died on the spot, three other family members sitting in the car sustained serious injuries. The marriage was postponed.
