Hyderabad: Telangana Recognised School Managements Association (TRSMA) on Sunday requested Education Minister P Sabitha Indra Reddy to include its representatives in the committee that has been tasked to prepare guidelines on school fee regulation.

“We request you to make the TRSMA representatives also as the members of the committee. Being the largest stakeholders of school education, our inputs cannot be ignored while preparing guidelines for the regulation of fees in schools. We assure you that our inputs will be useful for the preparation of the guidelines,” said TRSMA president Yadagiri Shekar Rao in a representation submitted to the Minister on Sunday.

Welcoming the move by the State government to constitute the Cabinet sub-committee to frame guidelines for regulation of school fee, the association requested the Minister to consider the recommendations of Prof. Tirupati Rao committee on school fee regulation.

According to the TRSMA, the Minister responded positively and assured that consultations with the TRSMA would be done in the process of preparing school fee regulation guidelines.
