“Fetish for fair skin” annoyed Dimple Hayathi

The actor is making waves with her dance moves when a short promotional video was dropped by the makers of Ravi Teja starrer 'Khiladi' recently.

Hyderabad: Actor Dimple Hayathi was quite annoyed with the stereotype “fetish for fair skin” in the industry when she was looking for the right chance to prove her talent. Just before landing the role in ‘Gaddalakonda Ganesh’, she was upset at being turned down by many filmmakers just because she is dark skinned.

The actor is making waves with her dance moves when a short promotional video was dropped by the makers of Ravi Teja starrer ‘Khiladi’ recently. The peppy mass number ‘Full Kicku’ has been viral on social media.

The Vijayawada-born actor said she was initially a bit disappointed at the way how few makers have excessive devotion for fair skin. However, this did not dampen her spirits, she was roped in by director Harish Shankar to play the mass number ‘Superhit Nee Heightu’ in Varun Tej starrer.

She recently accepted the Green India Challenge and planted a sapling here in the city and nominated her co-star Ravi Teja to continue the chain.
