Hyderabad: Intensifying Covid-19 containment measures, the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC), since May 14 has been covering over a lakh households every day as part of its ongoing fever survey. On Sunday, around 1.37 lakh households were covered by 1,563 teams comprising field-level workers from the GHMC and Health Department.
Meanwhile, National Dengue Day was observed by Mayor G Vijaya Laxmi on Sunday. At her camp office, she cleared the water in plant pots as part of ‘Every Sunday 10 Minutes at 10 am’ programme and said, “Preventive measures against Dengue should be taken and the course of action should start from our houses.”
