Fifteen members of a family injured in Mulugu road accident

Fifteen members of a family were injured, four of them seriously, after a mini truck collided head-on with a super luxury bus on NH-163 in Mulugu district. The victims were returning home from the Bhadradri Temple when the accident occurred.

Mulugu: As many as 15 members of a family have been injured, four of them seriously, in a road accident in Mulugu district on Friday.

A super luxury bus travelling from Warangal towards Guntur and a mini truck collided head-on on National Highway 163 near the Kondaparthi stage, located between Tadvai and Pasra. The injured belonging to Somla thanda in Mallampalli mandal were returning home after having darshan of the deity at Bhadradri Temple.

Upon receiving information, the 108 ambulance personnel immediately arrived at the scene and shifted the injured to District Government Hospital, Mulugu. Four persons whose condition was said to be critical were shifted to MGM Hospital, Warangal.

A case has been registered and an investigation is underway into the incident.
