Fifth NMDC Telangana Squash Open to begin at Secunderabad Club; over 350 players to compete

The fifth NMDC Telangana Squash Open will run from July 4 to 8, 2026, at the Secunderabad Club. Organized by HSPL, the national tournament features over 350 players across junior, senior, and masters categories with free public entry

Hyderabad:  The fifth edition of the NMDC Telangana Squash Open, the state’s premier annual national squash tournament, will be held from July 4 to 8, 2026 at the Sports Complex, Secunderabad Club here.

Organised by HSPL, the five-day tournament will bring together more than 350 players from across the country to compete in the Junior, Senior, and Masters categories.


Competitions will be held in the juniors, seniors, and masters players battle it out on court over five days of competition. With entries drawn from across the country, the tournament promises high-quality squash and closely fought matches throughout the week.

In a welcome move for the local sporting community, entry to watch the tournament is completely free. Squash enthusiasts and members of the public are invited to head to the Sports Complex at Secunderabad Club to witness the action live, free of charge, for the full duration of the event.

“The Telangana Squash Open has consistently helped grow the sport’s footprint in the state, and this fifth edition, with the continued support of NMDC, is set to be our biggest yet,” said a spokesperson for HSPL. “We’re proud to bring together over 350 players across three categories and to open our doors to the public at no cost, so that more people can experience the excitement of squash firsthand.”
