Mancherial: The district saw a steep decline in the number of positive cases of filaria over the past few years. According to information provided by the authorities of the Medical and Health department, Mancherial registered 65 positive cases in 2017 and 773 cases in 2018. It, however, had barely 18 cases in 2019 and zero cases in 2020. Two positive cases were reported in 2021.
