Hyderabad: Former journalist and film critic BA Raju passed away on Friday evening following a cardiac arrest at a private hospital here in the city.

Several Telugu film celebrities took to social media to express grief over his sudden departure.
Actor Mahesh Babu tweeted “Not able to process the sudden demise of BA Raju garu. I’ve known him since my childhood. We travelled together for many years and I worked with him very closely.”
Actor Sudheer Babu tweeted, “So so sad to hear this. Never ever have I seen him without a smile on his face.”
