Film Nagar school incident: Student allegedly assaulted during midday meal
An 11-year-old student at a government school in Film Nagar was allegedly injured during a midday meal after being struck by an ayah over taking extra eggs. Police have registered a case following a complaint by the child’s father.
Hyderabad: An incident of alleged abuse at a government school in Film Nagar has come to light, raising concerns over student safety.
As per information available, an 11-year-old child studying in Class 6 was allegedly attacked during the midday meal on campus. The boy reportedly took two eggs instead of one, which reportedly angered the ayah, Bala Nageshwaramma.
In a fit of rage, she allegedly struck him on the head with a serving ladle, leaving him bleeding and seriously injured. Following the incident, the child’s father made a complaint to Film Nagar police on Thursday. A case was booked.
