Famous Kannada actor Shiva Rajkumar is playing the role of Gummadi Narsaiah. The film directed by Parameshwar Hivrale, is being produced by Nalla Suresh Reddy under the banner of Pravallika Arts.

Born in a poor family Narsaiah earned a reputation as a man of the people and the god of the poor, Venkat Reddy said. Explaining his modesty, the minister said that he helped the poor with his MLA salary; donated his properties and used his bicycle as his vehicle.

The minister urged every elected representative, from sarpanch to Chief Minister, to watch Narsaiah’s life story. He hoped that a film about a selfless public representative like Narsaiah would bring about change among public representatives and reduce corruption.

Venkat Reddy stated that he would talk to the Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy about providing a subsidy for the film.
