Hyderabad: Telangana Sports Authority Chairman Shivsena Reddy congratulated Telangana athlete Navya, who has been selected for the 90 km ultra-marathon to be held in South Africa on June 8.

Navya, a resident of Cheekati Gudem, Nalgonda district, has been training at the Gachibowli Stadium.

The Botanical Garden Walkers Association handed over a cheque of Rs 1 lakh to Navya as financial assistance to participate in the ultra-marathon. Bharat Reddy and Bala Kishan, representatives of the association, handed over the cheque to Navya at the Sports Authority office in Gachibowli Stadium.

Mr Reddy appreciated the association for providing financial assistance to Navya and wished her success in the ultra-marathon.
