Hyderabad: Pan-India actor R Madhavan took to his Instagram to share an “amusing but sad” story about his journey to Dubai. The actor was headed to the city in the UAE for the shoot of his upcoming film ‘Ameriki Pandit’. But what amused him as well as his fans is that the 51-year-old was the sole passenger in the complete flight.

In the caption of the post, Madhavan shares that he is ‘praying hard’ for the difficult times of the pandemic to end soon so that people can reunite with each other. “July 26th 2021…Amusing but sad. Praying hard for this to end soon so loved ones can be with each other… #Amerikipandit shoot in Dubai(sic),” he wrote.
This comes in the wake of restrictions on travelling to and from Dubai due to the on-going Covid-19 pandemic. Only those with a negative Covid test report or Covid-19 vaccination certificates are allowed to travel to Dubai.
On the work front, Madhavan has been quite busy with shoots these days. He recently wrapped the shooting for the first season of Netflix’s ‘Decoupled’ Season 1. The romantic comedy show revolves around an affluent Delhi writer who announces his separation from his wife at a party. The events that follow reveal the other absurd relationships in their world.
