Hyderabad: Thirteen-year-old P Ashwith of St Andrew’s School (Bowenpally) put up a fine show for South Zone in the CBSE National cricket tournament for boys in Noida, scoring 252 runs from five innings, including two half-centuries.
Ashwith, who was trained by Dinesh of Indus International School and Jyothi Ganesh Inaganti, chess trainer from One Goal Chess Academy, helped South Zone finish runner-up in the championship.
