Hyderabad: An FIR has been registered under Sections 173 and 176 of BNS with Ramgopalpet PS, based on a complaint by the Secunderabad Division RDO, Sai Ram, over the submission of fake 2BHK certificates.

In a press release on Monday, Secunderabad RDO, Sai Ram, said an investigation conducted into individuals who submitted fake certificates for 2BHK (double bedroom houses) revealed that the certificates with the reference numbers were not issued by the Secunderabad Division RDO for the 2BHK flats allocated in the Gandimaisamma Mandal of Medchal Malkajgiri district.

While there are two divisions in Hyderabad district, Hyderabad and Secunderabad, it was observed that the mentioned certificates bore a fake stamp of ‘Revenue Divisional Officer, Hyderabad Secunderabad Division, Hyderabad District’. The Ramgopalpet Police was requested to take legal action against those who created the fake or bogus certificates, following which the FIR was registered.
