Hyderabad: Several documents and office equipment were reportedly gutted down when fire broke out at the GHMC zonal office at Secunderabad on Wednesday afternoon.
According to the fire officials, the fire broke out on the tax section located on the third floor of the GHMC zonal office building in Secunderabad. On information, fire tenders from various fire stations were rushed to the spot. It took around two hours for the firemen to bring the fire under control. Officials suspect that the fire might have occurred due to the short circuit. Senior fire officials visited the mishap site.
In the morning, another fire broke out in the warehouse of an electronic goods store at Ranigunj. The mishap took place on the first floor of the building located on the Ranigunj main road. On information five fire tenders from different fire stations rushed to the spot and doused the flames. Fire officials are trying to ascertain the reason behind the mishap. The extent of the damage is yet to be estimated.
