The incident occurred in a shed located opposite Tirumala Bar on Pipe Line Road, where flames suddenly engulfed the premises.
On receiving information, the local police and fire department personnel rushed to the spot and brought the blaze under control.
Preliminary investigation suggests that a short circuit may have caused the fire.
One car parked inside the shed was completely gutted in the incident. The extent of the property loss is yet to be assessed.
The Jeedimetla Police registered a case and are investigating.
