Fire breaks out at paper scrap unit in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: A major fire broke at a paper scrap warehouse at New Ganga Nagar in Amberpet on Friday morning. No casualties were reported.
Officials suspect a short circuit led to the fire. Residents saw the fire and alerted the Fire Department and police, following which a fire engine was rushed to the spot. With the fire raging on, a second fire engine too joined the efforts later and doused the fire. The cost of the property damage was yet to be ascertained. The Amberpet police are investigating.
