Fire breaks out at residential flat in Jeedimetla
A fire broke out in a residential flat at Gajularamaram in Jeedimetla on Monday evening, reportedly after a geyser exploded. An LPG cylinder also exploded during the incident. Fire personnel brought the blaze under control and no casualties were reported

Hyderabad: Fire broke out at a flat in a building at Gajularamaram in Jeedimetla on Monday evening. No casualties were reported in the incident.
The fire started in a flat situated on the second floor of a residential building. It is suspected that an occupant of the flat had switched on the geyser and it exploded, leading to the fire in the premises. An LPG cylinder also exploded due to the fire. Household articles were gutted in the incident.
“No casualties were reported in the incident. On receiving information about the fire, our team rushed to the spot and brought the fire under control,” said V Shekar Reddy, Station Fire Officer, Jeedimetla fire station.
