Medak: A fire broke out at the Telangana Diagnostic Centre located on the premises of the government hospital in Medak on Monday, damaging several computers and furniture.

Hospital staff alerted the fire department, and personnel arrived promptly with a fire tender to contain the blaze. Their swift action prevented the flames from spreading to other parts of the facility.

Hospital Superintendent Dr Sunitha said that no machinery or diagnostic equipment was damaged in the incident. She assured that diagnostic services would resume without delay.

The hospital management is currently assessing the extent of the loss caused by the fire.
