Fire breaks out in dialysis room of private hospital in Mancherial
A fire triggered by the explosion of an air-conditioning unit in the dialysis room of a private hospital in Mancherial caused panic but no casualties. Hospital staff evacuated patients in time, while firefighters quickly brought the blaze under control.

Mancherial: Close on the heels of an explosion of air-conditioning units at Special Neonatal Care Unit (SNCU) in RIMS, Adilabad that claimed the lives of five infants, another mishap occurred in Mancherial on Tuesday when a fire broke out in a dialysis room at a private hospital following the explosion of an AC machine.
Fortunately, no casualties were reported as hospital staff acted swiftly, evacuating patients promptly before the flames could spread. Panic gripped the dialysis unit when the AC machine exploded, triggering a fire. The quick response of the staff ensured all patients were shifted to safety, bringing relief to their families and the hospital management.
On receiving information, firefighters from the local fire station rushed to the hospital and extinguished the blaze. Fire officials said that the cause of the fire was an electrical short circuit. They suspected poor maintenance of the AC unit might have caused the mishap. The loss of property was estimated at Rs 10 lakh.
A case has been registered and investigations are underway.
