Fire damages hotel property worth Rs 10 lakh in Mancherial
A fire suspected to have been caused by a short circuit damaged furniture, AC units and other equipment at a hotel near Bellampalli Chowrasta in Mancherial on Monday. Property losses are estimated at Rs 10 lakh. Police have registered a case.

Mancherial: Furniture, air-conditioning (AC) units and other equipment were gutted when fire broke out in a hotel at Bellampalli chowrasta in the early hours of Monday. A short circuit is suspected to have caused fire and loss of property is expected to be around Rs 10 lakh.
Mancherial Fire Station House Officer Ramesh Babu said fire broke out at 3 a.m. and entire furniture, ACs, refrigerators, fans, etc., were reduced to ashes. Three firefighters aided by an engine managed to extinguish the blaze.
Based on a complaint filed by Santosh, the owner of the hotel, a case was registered. Investigations have been taken up.
