Fire destroys property worth lakhs at Uppal medical store

Officials say a fire broke out at Deepika Medical Store in Shantinagar, Uppal, around midnight, allegedly due to a short circuit. Upon receiving the alert, local police arrived at the scene and notified fire personnel, who quickly extinguished the flames.

Hyderabad: Property worth several lakhs was gutted down when fire broke out at a medical store at Uppal on Sunday night. No casualties were reported in the incident.

According to officials, the fire broke out Deepika medical store located at Shantinagar of Uppal around midnight reportedly due to short circuit. On information the local police reached the spot and alerted fire personnel who reached the spot and put off the fire.
