Fire in footwear unit in Hyderabad

Hyderabad:  A fire broke out at a footwear making unit at Kamatipura in the city on Tuesday night. No casualties were reported in the incident.

According to the police, the fire started at the footwear unit located at Osmanbagh, Kamatipura around 11 pm.

On information fire tenders from Chandulal Baradari rushed to the spot and doused the fire.

The fire officials said the blaze started following a short circuit at the electricity supply cables on the road and sparks landed in the footwear unit. Due to it the material kept at the place caught fire. However investigation is continuing to ascertain facts.
