Fire in service station, some cars gutted in Hyderabad

Local residents helped fire officials pull out some cars preventing a much bigger damage. Fire was controlled after sometime.

Hyderabad: A few cars were damaged when fire broke out at the Maruti Suzuki service station at Rajendranagar on Monday night.

The fire broke out about 1 am at the service station locater near residential buildings. On noticing fire in the service station the police were informed.


Fire tenders from Rajendranagar fire station came to the spot and put off the fire. The local people assisted the police and pulled out some cars kept in the service centre, it helped in preventing greater damage.

The local people got panicked on noticing huge flames coming out in the building. Investigation is going on.

The Rajendranagar police stated the fire started in a scrap dumped in the backside of the service centre. Eom
