Hanamkonda: A fire mishap that occurred in an HDFC bank’s branch at Nakkalagutta locality in Hanamkonda here on Sunday evening has damaged the computers and furniture in the office.

Alerted by the passersby who noticed emanating smoke, the fire personnel have arrived in time and controlled the fire from spreading to other offices/houses in the apartment. According to the preliminary assessment, nearly Rs eight lakh property has been damaged in the incident.

The cause of the accident is yet to ascertained.
