Firefighters battle Nampally blaze; rescue operations continue amid trapped fears

Hyderabad: A major fire erupted at a furniture showroom in Nampally area, causing alarm among residents and shop owners in the area on Saturday. The fire reportedly broke out at Bacha Crystal Furniture, situated on the ground floor of a four-storied commercial building.
Local residents claimed that six people, including a woman and her two children, may have been trapped inside the building when the fire broke out.
As per information available, firefighters deployed four fire engines to control the blaze, while heavy cranes were used to aid rescue and clearance operations. Thick smoke engulfed across the neighbourhood, with the authorities evacuating nearby buildings as a safety measure.
The Khairatabad Zone Police, HYDRAA and Disaster Management teams rushed to the spot to coordinate relief efforts. Ambulances were stationed nearby in case of any medical emergencies.
Officials are working with locals to remove inflammable materials from the area to prevent the fire from spreading further. The exact cause of the fire and details regarding injuries or casualties are yet to be confirmed by authorities.
