Karimnagar: With Huzurabad by-poll likely to be held after Deepavali, the district administration checked the Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) on Monday. Based on the Election Commission’s instructions, the first level checking of EVMs was conducted.
Collector and Election Officer RV Karnan along with representatives of different political parties visited the godown and checked EVMs and VVPATs.
Representatives of political parties expressed satisfaction over the inspection of EVMs. Additional Collector GV Shyamprasa Lal and representatives of BJP, Congress, TRS and TDP participated in EVM checking programme.
