First look of Karthi’s ‘Sardar 2’ unveiled

The film’s prologue will be available from 12:45 PM.

Hyderabad: The makers of Sardar 2, the much-anticipated spy thriller directed by P S Mithran, released the film’s first look poster on Monday, March 31.

Director Mithran shared the poster on his social media, writing, “Brace yourself for an epic showdown. #Sardar2 first look poster is here.”

The poster features actor Karthi with an intense expression, holding a Katana, a traditional Japanese sword used by samurai.

Sardar 2 is currently in its final stages of filming. With Sardar 1 being a massive success, expectations for the sequel are high. While the first film saw Karthi in dual roles, playing both a RAW agent and his son, a police officer, the sequel follows the son as he becomes a spy for the Indian government and heads to Cambodia.

The film stars Karthi, Rajisha Vijayan, SJ Suryah, Malavika Mohanan, Aashiq Rangnath and Sajal Ahmed. Music is composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja.
