First phase counselling of admissions begins at RGUKT-Basar

RGUKT officials said candidates falling between serial numbers 1 and 564 attended the counselling, while the shortlisted students from serial numbers 565 to 1,128 would undergo the counselling on July 8

Nirmal: The first phase of three-day-long counselling for admission into the six-year B Tech programme offered by Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge and Technologies (RGUKT)-Basar commenced on the premises of the varsity on Monday.

RGUKT officials said candidates falling between serial numbers 1 and 564 attended the counselling, while the shortlisted students from serial numbers 565 to 1,128 would undergo the counselling on July 8. The candidates between serial numbers 1,129 and 1,690 are scheduled to appear for the process on July 9.

On July 4, the university announced the list of 1,690 students who were selected for admission into the engineering course at Basar (1,500 seats) and Mahbubnagar (190 seats) campuses for academic years 2025-31.
