Hyderabad: The undergraduate first and second-year students of the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University-Hyderabad (JNTU-H) will continue to have online classes till February 12. Later, on-campus classes will be conducted for them following the Covid-19 safety norms.

However, the classwork or exams for undergraduate third and fourth year and all PG courses including Pharm D will be conducted on-campus following the Covid-19 safety norms from February 1. The university has sent a letter to all its constituent and affiliated colleges informing its decision on the conduct of the classes for various courses.

The move by the university to reopen colleges for physical classes comes as the State government on Saturday permitted the reopening of all educational institutions from February 1.
