Hyderabad: In a first-of-its-kind move for Telugu cinema, 8 Vasanthalu director Phanindra Narsetti has officially released the complete scripts of both the original film and its extended version, 12 Vasanthalu, for the audience to read.
Fans who were hoping for more after the poetic drama’s theatrical run and OTT, now have a rare chance to dive deep into the story, page by page. The extended version, titled 12 Vasanthalu (12 Springs), runs to 199 pages, while the original 8 Vasanthalu script comes in at 131 pages.
What makes this even more special is that not the scripts alone, there is also a PDF including the full lyrics of Srivennala’s song featured in the film, along with a detailed note explaining the unique connection between the characters Varun and Suddhi. The director described this piece as more than just a song, it’s a Carnatic fusion instrumental that weaves the emotional thread of the story together.
