First-year B.Tech student dies by suicide at Jadcherla campus
A 19-year-old B.Tech student from Bihar, identified as Ronak Raj, died by suicide in his hostel room at the NMIMS campus in Jadcherla, Mahabubnagar.

Mahabubnagar: A B.Tech student pursuing his first year in engineering died by suicide in his hostel room at the SVKM NMIMS campus in Jadcherla on Saturday.
The student was identified as Ronak Raj (19), a native of Bihar. According to reports, the college staff had accused him of involvement in cheating during the first-year semester examinations.
Reports said that the student, allegedly feeling humiliated over the accusation, died by suicide by hanging himself from a fan in the campus hostel room.
Following the incident, student unions staged protests outside the campus, demanding justice for the student’s family. The protests were continuing, reports added.
