Five-day D Sons Patola Art Exhibition opens in Banjara Hills
Deputy Mayor Mothe Srilatha Reddy inaugurated the five-day D Sons Patola Art Exhibition in Banjara Hills, showcasing Patola art sarees, handloom and silk products from across India, aimed at promoting weavers and supporting the handloom industry

Hyderabad: Deputy Mayor Mothe Srilatha Reddy along with TTUC State president Mothe Shoban Reddy formally inaugurated the 5-day D Sons Patola Art Exhibition at the Labels Pop-up Space, Road No. 1, opposite Taj Krishna, Banjara Hills.
Speaking at the launch, she said, “It’s wonderful to see a diverse collection of apparel, especially Patola art sarees, pure handloom, and silk products, showcased under one roof in the city.”
The exhibition features a rich variety of traditional textiles and handcrafted items from across India. Collections including Patan Patola, Bandhani, Banarasi, Paithani, Kashmiri, Maheshwari, Kanchipuram, Gadwal, Lucknowi, Ajrak Sarees, Suits and Kurtis, dress material, jewellery and bedsheets.
Organiser of the Exhibition said the expo will run till December 22 offering a vibrant platform for textile lovers and artisans alike. The main social objective of the exhibition was to promote weavers and encourage and provide a market to the handloom industry.
