Five HCA cricketers selected for Dilip Vengsarkar Academy UK tour
Five young cricketers from the Hyderabad Cricket Association have been selected for the Dilip Vengsarkar Cricket Academy UK Tour and Cricket Exposure Programme in Manchester. The team will tour England from July 11 to 26 and play 12 matches across multiple venues
Hyderabad: The Hyderabad Cricket Association (HCA) informed that, following discussions between HCA Secretary M Jeevan Reddy and former India captain Dilip Vengsarkar, five promising young cricketers from HCA will participate in the Dilip Vengsarkar Cricket Academy UK Tour and Cricket Exposure Programme to be held in Manchester, England.
The selected players were announced by HCA Junior Selection Committee Chairman Akash Bhandari and his team. The players are Nipun Reddy (under-19 fast bowler), Uzair Ahmed (under-19 fast bowler), Aditya Vardhan (under-16 wicketkeeper-batter), P Prince (under-16 all-rounder) and Ayush Malhotra (under-16 fast bowler).
The Dilip Vengsarkar Cricket Academy team will tour the United Kingdom from July 11 to 26 and play a total of 12 matches across various venues in England, comprising six 45-over matches and six T20 matches.
The HCA Secretary and HCA Head of Cricket Operations Ambati Rayudu congratulated the selected players.
