Five held with ganja in Yadadri Bhuvanagiri’s Thurkapally raid

Five individuals were arrested by Thurkapally police for possessing ganja packets in Yadadri Bhuvanagiri district. Acting on a tip-off, SHO Mohammed Taqiuddin led a raid near Madhapur village where the accused were caught smoking ganja.

Hyderabad: Five persons found in possession of ganja packets were arrested by the Thurkapally police on Wednesday.

According to Thurkapally, SHO Mohammed Taqiuddin, the five persons had procured the ganja from West Bengal and were smoking it at an isolated place near Madhapur village in Thurkapally mandal of Yadadri Bhuvanagiri district.


Upon receiving information, a team headed by the Thurkapally SHO raided the place and caught them. The police seized 200 grams of ganja packed in 10 packets in their possession. A motorcycle and four mobile phones were also seized. A case has been registered.
