Five injured in separate incidents during Ganesh immersion in erstwhile Khammam

In an incident at Brahmana Bazaar in Khammam city a man was injured when a 32 feet high clay Ganesh idol collapsed while it was being lifted by crane to shift the idol onto a vehicle.

Khammam: Five persons injured during Ganesh immersion processions at different places in erstwhile Khammam district on Monday.

In an incident at Brahmana Bazaar in Khammam city a man was injured when a 32 feet high clay Ganesh idol collapsed while it was being lifted by crane to shift the idol onto a vehicle.


In another incident at Regalla village of Laxmidevipalli mandal of Kothagudem district four women suffered burn injuries when the crackers placed in a vehicle carrying Ganesh idol burst accidentally. The DJ music system was torn into pieces due to the bursting of the crackers.
