Five medical officials served notices for unauthorised absence in Adilabad

An order to this effect was issued by District Medical and Health Officer Dr Narender Rathod

Adilabad: Show-cause notices were served on medical officer Srikanth, community health officer Sandeep, supervisor Suresh, Public Health Nurse Jyothi and mid-level health provider Puja belonging to Indervelli primary health centre for being absent from duties without prior permission. An order to this effect was issued by District Medical and Health Officer Dr Narender Rathod here on Thursday.

Earlier, Collector Rajarshi Shah inspected the primary health centre and found out about the services offered to the patients. He asked the officials to ensure sufficient drugs. He checked attendance registered and expressed displeasure over skipping duties by officials. He instructed the DMHO to serve the show-cause notices against the five officials.
