Five-member gang attacks youth with knives in Hyderabad

A 22-year-old salesman was critically injured after a five-member gang attacked him with knives in Mailardevpally, Hyderabad, while he was returning from work, with police registering a case and launching an investigation.

Hyderabad: A salesman is battling for life after a brutal assault by a five member gang on Shastripuram road in Mailardevpally on Wednesday night.

The victim Mohd Fahad Khan (22), a resident of Owaisi Hills in Shastripuram was returning from work he was intercepted by five persons identified as Shehbaz, Shahnawaz, Jaffar and two others. According to police, they attacked him with knives leaving him with life-threatening injuries.

On information the police reached the spot and shifted the injured yo hospital. A case is registered.
