Five people killed in road accident near Mulugu
Police confirmed that those travelLing in the car were going to Medaram tribal shrine. The RTC bus belonging to Hanamakonda depot was returning to Hanamkonda when the accident took place.
Mulugu: In a fatal road accident that took place at Gattamma temple in Mulugu district on Saturday morning five people were killed. A speeding car collided head-on with an RTC bus coming in the opposite direction. Five people travelling in the car were killed on the spot.
Police confirmed that those travelLing in the car were going to Medaram tribal shrine. The RTC bus belonging to Hanamakonda depot was returning to Hanamkonda when the accident took place.
Due to the accident, heavy traffic snarl was reported at Gattamma temple near Mulugu. Vehicles were stranded for several kilometres As devotees going to Medaram were facing severe difficulties, police were trying to clear the traffic, sources said.
