Hyderabad: With markets brimming with juicy seasonal fruits, it might be time to give your regular beverages a fruity twist. While mangoes may be the obvious favourite, fruits like jamun, lychee, cherries and peaches can add fresh flavours and vibrant colours to homemade mocktails. From tangy coolers to floral spritzers, here are five easy recipes to help you sip your way through the season.

Jamun Mint Cooler
Blend a cup of deseeded jamuns with a handful of mint leaves, one tablespoon of lemon juice and a teaspoon of honey. Strain if desired, pour over ice and top with chilled soda water for a tangy and refreshing drink.

Lychee Rose Spritzer
Blend six to eight peeled lychees with chilled water and a dash of rose syrup. Pour into a glass with ice and finish with soda water for a light and floral refresher.

Cherry Lime Sparkler
Muddle fresh cherries with lime juice and a little sugar syrup. Add sparkling water and garnish with mint leaves for a bright and colourful drink.

Peach Ginger Cooler
Blend ripe peach slices with freshly grated ginger and lemon juice. Top with soda water and serve chilled for a mocktail that balances sweetness with a hint of spice.

Mango Basil Fizz
Combine one cup of fresh mango puree with a few torn basil leaves and a squeeze of lime juice. Add sparkling water and ice cubes for a sweet mocktail with a fragrant twist.
