Hyderabad: A five-year-old boy died in an accident at Tarnaka on Monday afternoon.
According to the police, Shaik Omar (5) was going on a scooter along with his uncle Mohd Yousuf from Moula Ali to Chaderghat.

“When they reached Tarnaka, Yousuf was taking a U-turn when a Tata Ace auto-trolley hit the scooter. Omar, who was riding pillion, fell off the scooter on the road and sustained serious head injuries. He was rushed to hospital where doctors pronounced him dead,” the Osmania University police said.


Based on a complaint made by the family members, the police registered a case and took up investigation. The police seized the auto and took the driver into custody.
