PBPartners, the PoSP platform of Policybazaar, recently marked five years of empowering insurance entrepreneurs across India. The milestone reflects the growing role of technology-enabled local advisors in expanding insurance access across the country.
The Policybazaar PoSP platform now spans 703 cities, 19,000 pin codes and has grown into one of India’s largest insurance entrepreneurship networks.
PBPartners, the PoSP platform of Policybazaar, recently marked five years of empowering insurance entrepreneurs across India. The milestone reflects the growing role of technology-enabled local advisors in expanding insurance access across the country.
What started as an effort to simplify insurance distribution and create entrepreneurship opportunities has today grown into one of India’s largest insurance entrepreneurship platforms. In the early months of its inception, PBPartners had 66,000 partners across 167 cities. Today, it has a network of more than 5 lakh partners spread across 703 cities and 19,000 pin codes. Together, the brand has enabled the issuance of more than 8.4 million policies across the country.

More Than a Platform, An Ecosystem
The scale of the platform is also reflected in the ecosystem built around its partners. From 8 Experience Centres in its early days, PBPartners today operates 34 centres across the country. Its workforce has grown from 1,078 employees in the early months to 4,624 employees today. The platform also facilitates nearly Rs 3 crore in on-demand payouts to around 4,800 partners every day, underlining the scale of entrepreneurship and income generation it has enabled.
