Five youths thrashed by locals for allegedly misbehaving with woman in Basheerbagh
Five youths were allegedly thrashed by local residents after reportedly misbehaving with a young woman near the CCS office in Basheerbagh. Residents intervened after hearing her screams and alerted police, who have registered a case and launched an investigation.

Hyderabad: A group of local residents thrashed five youths after they allegedly misbehaved with a young woman near the Central Crime Station office at Basheerbagh on Wednesday night.
According to information available, the woman was walking alone on the road opposite the CCS office when the group allegedly caught hold of her hand and behaved indecently.
Hearing her screams, nearby locals rushed to the spot, caught the youths and thrashed them before alerting the police.
The youths were identified as Sunil, Umesh, Laxman, Purushottam and Ram, all reportedly working at a local fast-food centre in the area.
Abid Road police booked a case and are investigating. They are verifying if the youths were from Nepal, as their features seemed so.
