Flight to Hanoi Delayed at Hyderabad Airport after technical glitch
Flight VN-984 from Hyderabad to Hanoi was delayed overnight due to a technical glitch, leaving passengers stranded and prompting protests. The airline arranged overnight accommodation, and the flight is now set to depart at 10 am.
HYDERABAD: Passengers travelling to Hanoi, Vietnam, from RGI Airport had to wait for several hours due to a delay following a technical glitch in the aircraft since Friday night.
The flight VN – 984 was scheduled to take off at 11.55 pm Friday from RGI Airport. However, until 9 am, Saturday the flight did not take off. The travellers had protested over the delay and complained the airline’s management did not find a solution for the issue promptly.
Airport sources said the flight was delayed due to a technical glitch and the airlines provided accommodation to the passengers in the night. The flight is scheduled to depart at 10 am.
Meanwhile, several flights bound to Mumbai and Delhi from RGI Airport Hyderabad are delayed following the cascading effect of Friday’s technical issue at the Air Traffic Control.
