FlixBus launches Hyderabad–Pondicherry Volvo sleeper service

FlixBus India is launching a Hyderabad–Pondicherry Volvo sleeper service, with a stop connecting travellers to Tiruvannamalai. The company will also add routes to Guntur, Coonoor and Ooty and introduce 120 buses to expand its southern network.

Hyderabad: FlixBus India, a travel-tech company, has announced the launch of a new Hyderabad–Pondicherry connection. The Volvo sleeper service will cover an approximately 1,800-km round trip and will also connect travellers to Tiruvannamalai, one of South India’s prominent temple destinations.

Alongside the Hyderabad–Pondicherry route, the company is set to launch new connections to Guntur, Coonoor and Ooty, expanding its network across Telangana, Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu.

The addition of 120 buses during Q3-Q4 will also increase capacity across the southern network and support the expansion of existing and new routes, a press release said.

FlixBus India Managing Director Surya Khurana said over the past two years, South India has demonstrated the depth and diversity of the intercity mobility opportunity, with cities such as Hyderabad emerging as important points of connectivity within the wider network.
