Florida Atlantic University notifies scholarships for Indian students
Hyderabad: Florida Atlantic University (FAU), USA, has announced scholarships for incoming spring and fall terms to support international students to study at FAU.
The scholarships provide a significant reduction in course fees for students who wish to pursue their higher education studies at FAU as the scholarship covers four or eight semesters for a transfer student or student on a scholar visa.
To be considered for a scholarship, applicants must apply and be accepted as degree-seeking students and obtain a high school diploma or its equivalent before the first day of class.
A total of $6,000 per year scholarships is provided to students (First-year applicants: maximum of $24,000 and for transfer applicants: $12,000 maximum). Minimum requirements for scholarship consideration include submission of application by May 1. The applicants should have a minimum GPA equivalent to 3.5 on the 4.0 US grading scale and SAT or ACT scores. Students from India who enrolled through education provider Study Group are also eligible to apply.
“The FAU scholarships are a new initiative and show a deep commitment to supporting students from India for their undergraduate studies to further excel in their careers. These scholarships will enable students to aim for higher education with global exposure and trusted financial support,” said Karan Lalit, regional director India, Study Group.
