Hyderabad: FLY Holistic School celebrated Diwali with a vibrant student-led carnival organised by the School Council here on Saturday. Students presented a range of eco-friendly handmade products such as tie-dye dupattas, coconut shell cups, painted diyas, wall hangings, and crochet crafts, blending artistry with sustainability.
Over 500 people, including parents and teachers, apart from Pratima Jaidev, author and entrepreneur and P Chandra Sekhar, founder and director, FLY Holistic Schools, participated in the event. The proceedings from the event will support the Vasudhaikyam Trust that funds education of underprivileged children, a press release said.
Appreciating students’ innovation and compassion, founder and academic director, Geetha Chandrasekhar, said the carnival reflected “celebration with purpose – where creativity meets contribution”.
