Hyderabad city police have imposed restrictions on flying drones, para-gliders, and other remotely controlled micro light aircraft over key locations in the city

Hyderabad: In view of the upcoming Miss World contest, the Hyderabad city police have imposed restrictions on flying drones, para-gliders, and other remotely controlled micro light aircraft over key locations in the city.

The restrictions will continue until June 2. The drones and similar aerial vehicles up to a radius of three kilometres of specified venues such as Charminar, Laad Bazaar, Chowmahalla Palace and Khilwat – May 13 (Tuesday), Telangana Police Integrated Command and Control Centre – May 18, Telangana State Secretariat and Tank Bund – May 18 and Raj Bhavan, Somajiguda – June 2.


Any persons violating the orders will be prosecuted, the police warned.
